Seriously

But, the MAGAts will insist, they have Kid Rock.

“Listen, I was just watching your clips, and we have this low birth rate in America, and it all made sense to me. It hit me right now because who’s going to sleep with these ugly-a**, broke, deranged, TDS [Trump Derangement Syndrome] liberal women?”

This was the in-depth analysis Mister Rock provided after a video segment was run just before his appearance on the Jesse "Holdyer" Watters show. To be fair, the host of the show followed up the montage thusly: “I think I saw armpit hair. The resistance is deranged, misinformed, hairy and rather homely,” Watters said. During another montage, the Fox News on-air graphic blared: “Blue-hair: Child Rapists Deserve Dignity.” This line was furthered by the "Kid," who was the catalyst behind the boycott of Bud Light beer when he bought a few cases for himself to shoot up, “I mean, you look at these rallies, it’s like a bunch of women that no guy wants to sleep with, and a bunch of dudes that want to sleep with each other.”

Ultimately, this was the way Faux News chose to counter the comments made by Bruce Springsteen last week, supported by a  number of artists such as Eddie Vedder and Neil Young. Not by responding to the "rant" Springsteen made from the stage, but rather to sink to the now familiar misogynistic and homophobic snickering that provides the basis of the "analysis" taking place at eight PM Eastern on The Only News Channel named after a vulpine.

Meanwhile, Dear Leader is somewhere in a lavishly appointed bunker tapping out his strategies for bringing artists like Bruce, Beyoncé, and Oprah to heel.  “HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT?” Trump wrote online, in a message published at 1:34 AM Eastern. “WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? ... AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO???”

Apologies for the all-caps, but I believe in artistic integrity, and that's how it showed up to the world. In the middle of the night. Eastern time. Time to get a new spokesrocker.
