War is over
if you want it.
That's a pretty deep sentiment
coming as it did
from a Liverpool kid.
When he sang about
Happy Christmas
we remember he was the one
who said they were bigger
than God's only son.
It makes perfect sense
if enough people believe.
The struggle continues to be
who really wants that
and who still has money
on the table.
It's a decision we make
to do the right thing.
To open a new door
the one that has stayed
closed for so long.
There is peace
just waiting
on the other side.
